Coupa Is Hiring
I’m pleased to report Coupa is hiring additional personnel.
The pitch is something like this: Do you believe open source is the future of enterprise software? Are you ready for a challenge? If so, maybe joining an early-stage start-up like Coupa should be your next big move.
We currently have openings in Sales and in Development. Drop me a line if you’re interested.
What kind of developers are you looking for?

Well, given that Dave has already stated they are using Ruby on Rails as their development platform in:
http://procurement.wordpress.com/2006/07/25/coupa-technology-its-ruby-on-rails/
my guess is they want top notch Ruby on Rails developers with an understanding of Procurement Applications. Am I right, Dave?
P.S. I think they are Mac fanatics as well. ;-)

There are a few development profiles that are especially interesting to us
1) Generalist Practitioner – great OO coding skills, interest in the latest componentry, “get it done” oriented, with a competence in being able to conceptualize functionality and see things from the customer’s point of view
2) Specialist Freak – server-oriented process automation hacker who revels in the elimination of anything manual. Having a faux name like “See Dollar” probably places you in this camp :)
We don’t require prior Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience – we’re more about what you’ve done and who you are. Just to be clear we are looking for “do’ers” not managers.
For sales, again there are a few different profiles that interest us. But I won’t bore you with the details – if you find you’re interested, drop us a line.

The game has just begun and already the street is taking about shorting!

To anonymous – I think commercial open source has drawn short interest since it first began! People don’t believe it’s possible b/c it represents too much change from the status quo. No doubt (no pun intended) there will be ups and downs.
To Abhinav – We’re based in Foster City, CA & our strong preference is local. But you should still shoot us your resume.
