Businesses value &quot;1 throat to choke&quot;. But then there&#039;s Red Hat for Linux and mySQL for database. Support is available &amp; less expensive than Oracle. So it goes back to product &amp; what meets your requirements. You could build your products on a closed source stack if there was no other way.. But open source keeps right on chipping away.
