yes the shopping cart is controversial & i like your thoughts about why it is bad. since our initial focus has been on the self-service requisitioning flow it does helps people understand what we've done - the part of the solution we've tackled - but at some cost.. thanks for the feedback!

Hi Dave,
The thing I like least is the image of the shopping cart. Some purchasing and supply management professionals absolutely despise the perception that professional buying is perceived as "shopping" by some people.

The shopping cart image on your site, with its placement and size, gives me the impression that the most important message that Coupa wants to send is that Coupa believes that professional buying and shopping are equivalent. That makes me feel that Coupa doesn't understand purchasing and supply management professionals.

That being said, I really like the right side navigation bubbles. Those are five important links and you give quick access to the information that your prospects are looking for.

Keep up the commitment to improvement!

I liked the previous version better - it was refreshingly different than everyone else... I think you should add back some of the "fun" elements in the new version... Or something else that's unique for Coupa (besides open source)....

As always IMHO: New font and layout is hurting more than it's helping.

1) take out the "Save Money and Time..." line - it is taking away from the larger message. If you want to close up the bottom of the page, move the yelow quote to the bottom

2) the right side nav buttons are not as good as the older versions - blue with white type as I recall - much more inviting and they tied better to the logo.

3) if you could make some room for the press links and keep them from rolling, it would be much better. The rolling distracts my eye from the natural flow of the page.
